​ Lauren completed her Master of Clinical Psychology at Curtin University in 2022 and is currently completing AHPRA's clinical registrar program. She is experienced in treating children, adolescents, and adults and istrained in a variety of therapeutic models supported by clinical research including cognitive-behavioural, schema, attachment, and mindfulness-based approaches. Lauren provides an environment for clients to reflect on their day-to-day experiences and consider how their thoughts and feelings have been impacted by earlier experiences.

 

Lauren has experience in the public sector in both non-government and Department of Health settings. In addition to private practice, she works part-time at King Edward Memorial Hospital providing psychological assessment and intervention to women in the perinatal period, and those experiencing mental health difficulties secondary to other women's health difficulties. Lauren's areas of interest include (but are not limited to):

  • Childhood trauma and attachment difficulties

  • Transition to parenting

  • Dyadic parent-child work

  • Grief and bereavement

  • Anxiety disorders (generalised, panic disorder, specific phobias)

  • Depression and self-esteem

  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder

  • Situational difficulties (adjustment, workplace, relationship, etc)

Lauren is available to see clients aged 8 and over.  Unfortunately, this practice does not prepare assessments or reports for use in family court.
